Paul J. Anderson | President & CEO
Paul was a founder, President & CEO of Wound Care Technologies, Inc. from 2004 to 2017. He orchestrated the sale of Wound Care Technologies, Inc. to the Synovis MCA subsidiary of Baxter in April 2017. Paul then served as a consultant to Baxter until April 2019.
Paul was Director of Engineering at Wavecrest Corporation from 1997 to 2003 where he led the development of advanced signal integrity analysis systems. Wavecrest was named fastest growing technology company in Minnesota in 1999. Paul managed the Engineering group at Cargill’s Silent Knight Security from 1995 to 1997 during which time the IntelliKnight fire alarm control system platform and 9800 central station receiver platform were developed. As Vice President of Engineering at Cascade Medical from 1987 to 1995 he led the development of innovative blood glucose monitors. While at Cascade Medical he was heavily involved in design engineering, manufacturing, quality and purchasing. Paul spent the first four years of his career at Honeywell where he worked as a Senior Development Engineer.
Paul is an inventor on 20 patents. He has consulted as an expert witness in medical device patent litigation cases for Finnegan Henderson and Dentons, two large international law firms. Paul has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Douglas Duchon | Principal and Chief Technology Officer
Doug has over 35 years of experience in the design and development of new products in the
computer, industrial, consumer goods and medical device industries. Doug’s range of experience
spans a spectrum from start-ups to large multi-national organizations with both national and
international scope. He has extensive experience in regulated industries especially in Class I, II, and
III medical device startup companies.
His most recent experience includes technical leadership in ultrasound technology at Alliqua Biomedical
(formerly Celleration Inc) as Vice President of R&D/Operations. Doug has held technical and senior
management positions serving as Vice President of R&D for Hemosphere Inc, Director of Stent
Development at ev3 (Covidien) and leading a Drug Eluting Stent Program for Boston
Scientific as Sr. Program Manager. He has also held senior management positions at several emerging
medical companies including Advanced Bio-Surfaces (Vertebral Technologies), Impres Medical, and ACIST
Medical (acquired by Bracco Diagnostics).
Prior to becoming involved in medical product development, Doug managed a design consultancy
engineering group at Worrell Design and held various Engineering positions at Kallestad Diagnostics,
Logitech, Alps Electric and Apple Computer.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. He has performed numerous technology investigations and business due
diligence assessments for investor groups. Doug has extensive patent development
experience and holds over 55 domestic and numerous international patents.
